Series: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

The motto for this costume is “a simple project that isn’t actually simple”. My victorian lady version of Gene Wilder’s costume from the old 1970s musical was supposed to be a quick build. Months of hand embroidery later, I’m still working on the vest. That being said, the hours of meticulous hand sewing are definitely going to be worth it if I can manage to finish it in a reasonable amount of time. I’m hoping to have this one finished by the end of the year, maybe even in time for Halloween.
